A pond is "repaired” and recovering with a form of nature’s Kintsugi. This is the artist’s vision inspired by the Japanese Art of Kintsugi.
The Japanese art of Kintsugi uses gold splicing to mend broken pieces of pottery. It is the art of embracing flaws and repairing imperfections so a broken object can be healed and embraced with more treasure than before. I use this inspiration to depict my vision of a planet mended after being broken by climate change.
*Price in USD, inclusive of international shipping.
