My work is an exploration of interconnection between the ancient art of kintsugi, the spiritual world of chakras, and the emotional resonance of color. "Alchemy of Renewal" is a visual representation of the transformative power of embracing imperfections, the balance of energies within, and the vibrancy of the human experience.
Color, a universal language that transcends words, plays a pivotal role in my artwork. The colors associated with chakras guide the visual narrative of transformation.
Orange represents the second chakra, SVADISTHANA. in harmony allows us to feel joy, prosperity, pleasure, creative and sensual. When out of balance, we feel unstable/unhealthy in aspects of our sexuality & social shyness. We can experience reproductive issues & feelings of shame.
Revival represents the “renewal” of the 2nd chakra located in the sacral plexus. It is the seat of creativity and where we achieve an awareness of self. As we navigate through life, we learn new aspects of ourselves which contribute to our “Revival”.
